While basic medical care is available in virtually every country on earth, certain complex medical procedures are best done in countries with a more advanced healthcare system.  

Typically, these advanced procedures are quantifiable.  And now, employers are able to purchase insurance only for these complicated procedures.  For a small percentage of the employer's total medical expenditure, the insurance allowes the employee to travel to the United States for the treatment for these procedures.
